WEBCOMICS
FOR THE LOVE OF YAOI: the first webcomic i ever read and still remains one of my faves. its last update was in October 2006, which is annoying as it doesn't round off or finish the story properly. The art has a touch of "old school" but is quite unique.
i love its story; set in the land of Wyrd. its a yaoi (duh) between an elf (Pedar) and a mage (Trystan.)
it was my main inspiration when creating my own comic.
OOGLAF: honestly one of the funniest comics ever! it is mostly about an evil queens apprentice and all the sh*t he has to go through. but has several hilarious side-stories; all set in an alternate fantasy universe.
this comic has adult themes throughout and is rated 18+ (sooo, not safe for work!)
the art is great and in full color. It updates every Sunday with whole stories at a time that vary in length from a page to four.
EERIE CUTIES: An okay comic with some laugh out loud moments. Very popular and has its own spin off comic "magic chicks" which has just been released.
its about supernatural teenagers and the school they go to but mainly revolves around the character of a ditsy vampire who will only eat chocolate.
MENAGE A 3: Another one of my deep personal faves. written and drawn by the same people that did "eerie cuties" it is about three room mates and their adventurers in Montreal. is aimed at a slightly older audience (i would say 16+) and is so funny with a constantly moving plot. one of its good points is that it updates in strips, this means you get a laugh every time but this is also a flaw as it means it does take a while for the plot to progress. it is very clever and a definite to recommend.
